He takes a lot of things lightly, not one to be dragged down by anxieties and doubts. Despite being very passionate on winning, this sort of will against neurotic tendencies is what tipped him to being a Gryffindor instead of Slytherin (Much to his surprise, and in spite of his then-newly bought Snake). He does what he sets out to do, and the confidence plays a big role in that. Being so carefree in regards to worries, Lukas likes playing around a lot, constantly seeking his own amusement. This makes him fun to be around, especially if the other vibes with the same tendency.

He isn't really big on being 'tied down' though, rather, wanting to go with the wind and go where he wants to go. But, it's proven he does have some exceptions, like his family. The confidence also definitely crosses the side of being narcissistic at times, which he frankly doesn't even care for, calls it self-assured instead with a grin. With that confidence also comes another downside, he seriously doesn't like to lose. His tendency to seek out his own amusement definitely comes to the chagrin of others at times as well.

History:
[ The first child in the family was a boy. The parents expected him to be a wizard, and his father had educated him in preparation for it, but as time went on without sign of magical affinities it was eventually dropped and left to collect dust. Lukas was the second child. Because the fact that his brother never showed any magical signs, the parents guessed perhaps the blood was too diluted, and raised Lukas as if he were a muggle.

It came as a surprise, then, when he started manifesting his abilities. His half-blood father, being a good man, never really showed discrimination or disappointment outwardly towards the fact that his older brother was a squib, but couldn't help rejoicing that there was another wizard in the family confirmed. From then on out, the bond between Lukas and his father deepened immensely as he took on teaching Lukas, quite literally a whole new world. Lukas took to it with glee and sparkling eyes, looking at his father and his experience in awe. It was only natural then, as he became of age, to apply to the same school he did. Hogwarts.

Lukas likes Hogwarts quite a bit, being submerged into the wizarding world and playing around. In his earlier years he made sure to visit every single site his father told stories of, and experiencing those sort of things was a delight. His father was a Slytherin though, and he expected himself to be the same. It came as a heavy surprise and semi-disappointment when he found out he was a Gryffindor instead, having even bought a snake expecting to place in the snake house. At this point he's come to terms with the fact though, and likes being Gryffindor quite a bit now as well (mostly because he thinks he looks nice in red).  ]

Relationships / Family:
      [ Father - Half-blood ]
They have a very good relationship. A comfortable in between of father and role model where he sets challenges or expectations, and Lukas passes with vigor and flying colors, followed by boisterous laughter and head-noogies.

      [ Mother - Muggle ]
Their dynamic is quite nice as well, albeit a little distant with Lukas obviously favoring his father, with the idolization and awe of being a wizard and what-not. Besides that fact, she is a supportive and warm-hearted mother, and he, a good son to her.

      [ Older Brother - Squib ]
The fact he's a squib is an awkward touchy subject, especially being the older brother, and especially with their father's non purposeful favoring of Lukas. While not necessarily hostile towards each other, they definitely have an invisible barrier between them. Sort of like polite strangers. His older brother is definitely closer to their mom.

Views/Opinions:
[ He's pretty connected to the muggle world, what with his mother being a muggle and his older brother practically one. Growing up, before entering Hogwarts, he also had a lot of exposure to the non-wizarding side of things as well. So, while understanding reasons to keep them separate he totally wishes he could show off to his muggle friends (which he keeps in contact with during summer break) ]
