AVENGERSwith custom costumes by me(except the hulk of course)

the rest i made for this drawing.sadly,the drawing i did was too big to be scanned so about 10 percent of the drawing is missing along with a small portion of hulks forehead

A simple rule of thumb with drawing females. "Less is More."
Less musculature. (less cut muscles) in fact you dont need to draw almost Any musculature at all what so ever.
And less details to face. less shadows on face less lines in Any way. In fact, just a Hint of some thing can leave the imagination to assume the rest of it is there. For instance. one often need Not draw an entire nose. Lines, bridge, nostrils, holes, under nose cleft etc. Often, just the hint of two dots representing the holes is enough, for example.
For the mouth? Perhaps just a shadow under the lower lip and a tiny thin line representing the part of the lips, with out drawing all the lips all the way around etc.
Less is more.
Women have less hard angles, squared muscles or definition etc. they are softer, represented in their curves and the More subtle, often the better, rather than Big roundness.
Try to think of women body language. a little arch to the back, cocked hip, slant of chin or tilt of head. Slant of shoulder. ie: draw an imaginary line from one shoulder to the other and then slant it.
This ends today's most basic instructional.
Remember, with women, the rule of thumb IS, .... Less is More.

now go practice it. a LOT.
when learning anatomy and body language fast drawings are best. alott your self about 5 mins per drawing, thats ALL.
get a pile of super cheap pads of paper. news print throw away stuff.
Take a look at women in my faves section I have tons of amazing models whom are comic book worthy.
Draw five in a row at about 5 mins each.
Do Not worry how well or poorly you are doing or how it Looks on paper, thats Not the point of this exorcize, just do it as fast as you possibly can.
This exercises the mind more than the hand. that is the purpose of the exorcize.
when you have done about 5 or 6 different drawings at about 5 mins each, THEN do a 20-30 minute one. Thats an hour.
Do this for about a week straight almost every day. not kidding. take an hour a day to do this drawing models.
Then at the end of the week, try and draw a woman after an hour of this warm up technique BUT, this time use No reference at all but draw her completely out of your head.
Compare THIS last drawing with previous woman drawings before you met me and be Blown away at the difference in just a week.
This is a college level exercise.

Hey man,the advice before was really helpful! This one,i notice alot of similarities to how i usually draw during school,freetime,etc.(minus the reference part) but i usually draw only male superheroes.im gonna substitute that with females.thanks man!
