Total time: Around 4 hours I'd say.
Sketched and inked by hand, scanned and coloured on the pc with a wacom graphics tablet in Photoshop 7.
Art and character design is copywrite to me (Jigokuko), unauthorised re-use without my expressed written consent is prohibited.

Wow, I found this picture of yours so long ago... It's still one of my favourite unicorn girl pictures. Ironically, I used to use it to inspire me to write stories about her teamed up with a dragon girl (I have never visited your page until today). Go figure.
It wasn't until I teamed up with an artist on this project [link] that I finally got my own unicorn character out of my head and on to the page...or card actually. My unicorn girl was inspired by The Last Unicorn movie. I first got a glimpse of the movie when I was 10 years old. Now she has a name, Knites, and she's helping teach language to people all over the world. Thanks for this great piece that tided me over until I could set my own unicorn girl character free to roam the planet.

Aye matey, I have indeed...well, the first 3 - not the latest ones about her daughter.
I always pictured Acorna looking like more of a human type unicorn girl - normal skin - not fur, and much less hair on the legs, as well as a much smaller horn.
