contests are fun, fantasy contests are twice the fun for me (i know, i know...you all hate my fantasy stuff and want some sci-fi *sigh*)

basically it's grab a scene from 's stories and go. contrary to what everybody would expect--myself included--i did not go for the romance part. ...but i did not do a guy so i've still some room for improvement. i chose a paragraph from [link]

tech: lineart scan and digicolor as always but maaaaan, this piece really floored me. i did a *massive* mistake at the end of version one and had to start *all*over*again.

it's because i'm a sucker for lost causes, that's why i insisted on this piece even though some of the other contestants are waaay out of my league
