A bit of a random test/doodle/thing I did involving an A6 moleskine, ballpoint pens and watercolour pencils. I had just bought a packet of ballpoint pens including two blues, a black and a red, and wanted to try something with them, and colourscheme wise Gyarados was the first thing to come to mind. The ballpoint pens ended up to be quite lousy, though, as from the strat the other blue and the red pen didn't work at all, so I had to improvise with an old, almost dry red pen and an ink-sort of-pen instead. Then the watercolour pens joined the pictures and I wanted to try them too. An experiment of an experiment of an experiment or something like that, but I have to say I rather like the result. I think this is also my first time drawing a gyarados, so that's pretty cool too :> On hindsight I have mixed feelings about that vignette-thing I tried on the borders though. Hmm.

I did this a while ago, something to make it seem like I'm actually doing something.

My scanner will apparently forever and always hate slightly brown paper. *sob*

Pencil sketch, ballpoint pens, watercolour pencils + water, white gel pen, color fixing and such in PS. I have no recollection of how long this took.
