Hey look new art, once in a while :'D I mean I've been doing stuff, but it's mostly school related that I don't generally really want to post here. The next thing I will tho, since it's actually an assignment I'm enjoying (hint: it has to do with character design~)

Anyway. Went to see Rendel last weekend, "the first Finnish superhero movie", as it's been marketed. Seeing I spent most of my waking hours of sunday on this one, I'd say it was a good film : D It's been in the makings for the past... few years, at least, and I've been waiting for it to come out ever since they started marketing it pretty much. And damn the marketing did a great job, the promo photos are amazing<3

This here's Lahtaaja, def my favourite bad guy from the film, just your general no nonsense Finn to get the job done, Renne Korppila did an amazing job acting~ I do have a few more characters I want to draw, but we'll see if I'll actually have the time for them. I still have tons of school work to worry about, and on top of that I just started on my internship this week (I actually found a place to intern at, yey~), but, hopefully. Better late than never :'D

I'm still terrible at depicting actual real life actors in fanart, I'm not good enough to do realism but I'm also kinda awkward at cartoonizing them. Also I have no idea how to do his tattoos, they look badass but I couldn't get a good enough ref anywhere, and I don't think I would've had the patience for all the details anyway :'D I tried orz The fire looks decent tho, I think. And the shading/lighting kinda works, for once.
