I always thought people were the most interesting just when they have woken up..So the whole motivation for this photo was to translate my very first thought, motivation and/or desire of that day just right after I woke up into a photograph...
I don't know, but the mornings definitely bring out something in everyone....

in photoshop?
it's easy just take away 30 saturation, bump up the brightness and contrast and just adjust the levels in the on the bar not the graph by making it darker thus allowing you to bump up the brightness and contrast....
at least that's what I do and I have a fairly medium skin tone

Wow Jillian, you're an artist.
The feeling and mood expressed from this is perfect. The fact that you've been able to bring out teary-eyed emotions from me from one photo. It's brilliant. The lighting is just, wow. The slight discoloration at the edge looks awesome.
Not to mention how you have the cord from the headphones wrapped up on the wall, somehow it sends a message. I can't really tell what it is, which is a really good thing. There are hidden messages all over the place, so hopefully you will tell me.
Also, love the shirt. Another thing that you've done which is VERY affective. Your shirt. I never see you in any of your pictures. Nor do I at all recall you ever wearing a shirt like this. Baggy, and almost faded. The fadedness adds to the atmosphere of the image. Just...
Wow... like... I really enjoy this. I am sorry, there's just... too many things I can go on about this photo. I wish I could get into photography, but I am not good at finding ways to subtly represent certain things. I wish I could do this with my artwork. xP
