A short time ago, I bought some new, amazing coloured pencils..this is the first thing I drew with them.. just a quick drawing..

btw, what paper do u use for ur other pencil drawings and how do u get it so smooth?

I use just 'normal' drawing paper.. no special ones.. the cheapest you can find.. the only thing I can say about it is thin paper, and not grainy at all.
I get is so smooth by drawing thin layers over each other every time.. and mixing a lot of colours..

I only use an eraser and my fingers..

somebody told me that i shouldn't use my fingers cuz the paper would get oily...but it seems to work really well for you! haha maybe that was just his opinion.

I don't use my fingers too much, just a bit over here and there... It works well, but only if your fingers are clean, otherwise it will get oily indeed, your friend was right! ;D

For sketching I use a normal, cheap 2b pencil..
for drawing black/white portraits I use a special artist's pencil... but I can't tell you where it is from, the words on it have dissapeared because I use it so much.. ;(
for colouring I use Derwent Coloursoft pencils, I bought them 2 weeks ago and they are really colourful and smooth!!

every time I color with colored pencils there are always little white gaps where I didn't color in. my perfectionism kicks in and I try to fill in those spaces. then I notice even smaller spaces, and I try to fill those in too. AND THEN...
well you get the point.

'Derwent Coloursoft' is the series called.. they are really soft and smooth pencils.. great quality,
I don't know where you can buy them exactly.. just in an artist shop.. maybe also on the internet..
