Description
This is a project for 2-D Design class, where we're supposed to make silhouettes and "cut out" shapes to symbolize something. I didn't really have any ideas, so I looked at my stuff on DA for inspiration. Then, looking at my tributes to Alie (aka Whisperwings ), I suddenly got my idea! --
Yes, we're still remembering Alie and what an impact she has left, and so I decided to turn my project into another tribute to Alie. Here, I have a silhouette of her, with a bunch of art stuff forming her bones and organs, like how paintbrushes make her arms and crayons make her fingers. A paint pad makes her brain and paint marks form her winking face. Scissors form her hipbone and rulers form her legs. Then there are pencils and circles and springs that represent her upbeat personality.
Despite all this happy stuff that tells us about her personality, there is also the tragic story of how she passed away. There's the liver with a ribbon (for Liver Cancer Awareness), which sends a strike to her heart, which symbolizes "taking a life away". And so now you can see both the happy and tragic parts of this project.
--
Again, may she rest in peace, and we will always remember her and her incredible art skills.

You're welcome! I didn't know Alie really but she seemed like a really good person and this picture sums up most of what I know about her

This symbolism is very well-designed.
