Somehow, EVERYONE craves for Chinese food! One day, on Facebook, I noticed many posts where everyone seemed to want Chinese food! And it sorta made me hungry for it, too! I knew I had to at least draw a picture that reflected our desires!

So I drew Jero and Britney sitting on the couch in the living room (Britney's house, I think), watching TV, eating Chinese food with chopsticks (I LOVE chopsticks! They're fun!). Britney is eating noodles and Jero is eating Sweet n' Sour Chicken (my favorite until dumplings took over).

I mean, girls do seem to be the ones that "show" everything: armpits, belly/belly button, legs, and even feet! They seem to wear less than men.

You seem to think belly buttons are cute, going by your pics where you draw them a lot, or girls sucking in their stomachs.

Actually, I don't draw belly buttons on MY characters, especially on Britney (there's a good reason why). And, yeah, I do think they're cute.
But nobody ever seems to address them when they're exposed, even in public. I always wondered about them as a kid: why does nobody ever address the female midriff? I mean, they usually say, "I like your hair", "I like your shirt", "I like your rings", "I like your shoes", "I like your outfit", etc., but nobody ever says, "I like your belly button!" It's like they're not allowed to mention it! It's almost an awkward thing to mention! So I never talk about it in public. I only present it through this character that was based off of my ideas of the female midriff.

And, the sucking-in-stomachs thing... that started with these scenes from Disney films where a (usually) fat character with an exposed belly has that moment when they have to suck it in from something perilous that aims at them. That's what drove me to the female midriffs in the first place; was that their purpose (I never really ever saw a girl do that). So I created Britney for that too, just to incorporate as many tummy jokes as possible.

Feet? Well, yeah, I think they're okay. I don't have a fetish for them, though (I don't know what about it causes a fetish for some people).

How come you don't draw them on your characters? I hadn't really noticed actually.
That's pretty interesting. That's so true, cartoons do that sort of thing a lot!
I think it's funny that girls expose feet a lot. I dunno, like you pointed out, they do dress differently from guys, including more chance of wearing sandals instead of shoes, less chance of wearing socks, etc.

Well, ever heard of how belly buttons were banned from TV and movies in the vintage era and such? That's because they were often mistaken for... well, the woman's V-word. And if a man ever put his finger in there... yeah, that. And Jero and Britney are two characters that I created straight out of my curiosity for "drawing"

Well, they don't really do it "alot". I mainly saw it in Disney films; the most common examples are Gus in the tea cup from Cinderella and the first time Mr. Smee appears in Peter Pan. There are actually videos on YouTube about them! Looks like I'm not the only one who took notice of those scenes! But again, it's mainly Disney films who do it. I haven't seen any other cartoons who did that sort of stuff with an exposed-bellied character.

I think Warner Bros. cartoons did that with the exposed belly characters, actually. Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes cast.
So you think you'd be embarrassed if you were barefoot, but you wonder why girls aren't? Yeah, I also wonder why they got barefoot or bare-midriffed a lot. It's cute though, you think so?
