So what was it like when you first drew her?

Well, she was inspired by a girl I had a crush on since 5th grade. Even though her first drawing wasn't "perfect", I felt that she was a great addition to the cast of characters. She didn't do much. She was just "there". But I didn't care. Because she was based on my fantasies on what I could be doing with the real girl, which would never come true, but in my cartoon world, I could bring it all to life. So I felt happy about it.

I think I had a similar story. Though most of the females I ever created were based off what I'd like a certain perfect girl to look like. Christie, for example, was my idea of the perfect looking emo girl that you just want to make feel better when she's down.

Ah, yeah. I could see that. I did wanna make her feel better most of the time. Though, there were also the times when she was just too weird to be around.
