Description As dusk slips in to the night the lights of the buildings twinkle in the sky like the stars they blot out.

I spent hours doing all that cross-hatching to build all those colors and shading up. At first I didn't even know if I liked it enough to continue. The composition was right, but I just wasn't seeing it getting worked into a full piece. I decided to wait until I got done 'coloring' all the buildings to see. Hours later I was glad I had done it. With some more working it, darkening around the buildings edges, and a few gradient fills I was finally happy!
