I get why a lot of people are criticizing you for uploading these images. Maybe to avoid them you should put (name of art) by (artist) on the title so people can stop flagging you. I think most people don't read the description and just immeadilty assume you are a scammer. Credits are in the description but some people don't notice it.
I am grateful that you upload these converted files but maybe deviant isn't the best place to advertise or post here. A lot of people are really mean about what you post.
(This isn't meant to offend you in any way but I am tired of seeing people call you out on this)

All the screenshots , because this is and NOT a pic or a wallpaper, as all the rest, are a preview image that automatically created when a lwp is packaged using RainWallpaper. All the images will be edited starting from today to show to the people what is all about trying to stop the confusion and misunderstandings..

this website isn't the appropriate place to be promoting your wallpaper app, especially since the way you're doing it keeps causing confusion and looks like plagiarism. you should at least post an animated screen capture instead of a still to better promote the function of your app; then it'll make sense to everyone criticizing you

I'm not the Dev/programmer of Rainwallpaper. I just convert mp4 videos already posted in free sites to Rainwallpaper format. Nothing more.. I can understand your point of view, but I'm sorry, if most of the people know only how to criticise and they're too lazy to spend 1 min to read the desciption and see what is all about, what RainWallpaper is and does it's not my fault..

*shrug* i'm just trying to help you. if you want to upload another one, instead of a still image, try capturing a flash video of rainwallpaper in motion, and maybe put a "sample" watermark over it. see if feedback on that one turns out better. if it doesn't work, then nothing lost.
honestly, rainwallpaper looks kind of cool, but you have to understand the community you're marketing to. deviantart, and artists in general, highly condemn plagiarism, so anything that even remotely looks like it will get blasted. i'm kinda surprised your posts haven't been reported by someone or something. anyway, good luck brother

Ok I will try to improve the uploading process and see what I can do.. It's not simple for me create a sample or a video each time even because DA does not allow many file types as prev images. That's why I always add a direct link to RainWallpaper page where there are vids uploaded on YouTube about how it works. Anyway thanks for your help and I'm sorry if I was a bit "hard" to my replies but makes me crazy trying to explain the same things..
Thanks again

there is a free software called OBS that's used by a lot of people. it should easily be able to capture the desktop as a flash movie file. it can even put a "sample" watermark on there if you have one of those images handy. see if that works out for you. take care

Ok I will check it! Or I will create a watermark by myself with the "playback" icon next to it to show that this is a lwp. I have already contact the Dev too to see if we can add it automatically when the vid file is packaged. Thanks!

You've been given multiple comments about why exactly people have a gripe with what you upload and what you can do to fix it, but all you do is deflect the blame and call people stupid and too lazy to read. You just can't admit you're doing something wrong. I guess some people are stubborn like that. Hopefully the original artists will file DMCAs. Maybe then it will get through your thick skull.

Just look your face in the mirror and speak for yourself! Since you don't know me in person I don't allow you to tell me rubbish! Μaybe YOU have a thick skull since you can't understand how the things really are!
I understand, but since this particular vid like ALL of the others here, are already available for download for free(!) in many sites I suppose that the permissions have be taken. I don't think that the original designer is too fool to let the users who used his/her draw to create a vid , without any action if there is something wrong.. I know that maybe this is not a good justification, but as I said is just the same video posted for free in other free sites. The people need to understand that I have not any personal gain from this, I'm not selling this or claim that I have created it, and surely I never want to "steal" any kind of art. I'm not a prof designer in my real life and I don't live from all this here. I just want to share this free video again in another format, for who wants to use Rainwallpaper program. I don't know if you read to that site mylivewallpers.com that under the vid they give instructions how to convert it and run it as a lwp.
mylivewallpapers.com/anime/zom…
So why for them is ok and for me it's not!? This is what I'm doing here! It's the same video only compressed in a zip after all. Nothing more. That's why I never had or have problem to put the missing (not intensionally!) credits or even remove a topic when it's needed. Unfortunately most of the people are ignorant like you, just see a picture without read the description, or check for real what is all about...

I'm seeing a lot of hate and anger here, both from you and from the people bashing you. Can I point something out though?
((Also side note, I don't intend to sound harsh, and I don't mean to sound like I'm attacking you- I'm really not. I'm just trying to understand why you don't seem to get what everyone is so angry with you for and I feel the need to try and explain it.))
This is an art site. It's not a place to share things that you personally did not create. This is not a "Look at this cool thing I found!" site. That's a Facebook, or Twitter thing.
DeviantArt is specifically a "Look at this thing I MADE" site.
People are angry because you openly admit that you had no part in creating these things, but you're posting them on a site where the immediate assumption is that you DID create them- because that's what this site is FOR. That's why it was made, was to showcase things that users CREATED. But you keep posting things you had no hand in making, and then wondering why everyone is getting so angry and being so rude to you- while they keep wondering what you're doing on a creation site when you openly say you haven't created these things.
It seems to be an endless loop that stems from the fact that you insist on posting to the wrong site. Again, I don't mean to sound like I'm attacking you- that's not my intention and I'm very sorry if I come across that way, but the way I see it that's the bottom line. People on this site keep trying to tell you this isn't the place for sharing things you didn't make, (albeit they go about it all wrong and are rude and accusatory about it,) and you keep getting angry that they're not reading your authors notes and paying attention to the fact that you're not claiming these things you're posting. But the problem with that is that this is an art site.
The whole reason for this site is to post things you did create. When you post things you didn't create, it angers and confuses everyone because it goes against the entire purpose of this site- and then they get angry and accusatory, and you get angry and defensive because you don't see anything wrong with sharing these things that are free- and they can't understand why you're posting them here. I get that you want to share these cool things,
For clarification, I'm not telling you to stop sharing these things- If you want to share them, go for it! But maybe not HERE, on DA, specifically.
As I said, Facebook in particular is a platform designed for posts of "Hey look at this cool thing I found! Isn't it neat? You should get it too!" So is Twitter. Posting things like this on either of those two sites will get you a lot less hate than you seem to be getting here, and a LOT more appreciation.
Another option though, if you're determined to post them here on DA for whatever reason, is to post them as journals instead of deviations. With a journal you can use links, and still show the image itself, and showcase it as a "Look at this thing I found, isn't it neat!" Doing it as a journal and titling it with something along the lines of "Look what I found," or "Rainwallpapers image by so-n-so-artist" will stop the haters too because that will follow the general ideals and purpose of the site. Journals are for talking to your watchers, and showing them things that you like that you didn't necessarily create. Deviations are specifically to showcase things someone has made themselves.

I understand you point of view. If you check my profile better you can crearly see that mainly I'm a designer of widgets for pc and Android, and with almost 4000+ widgets created until today, I know very well the meaning of "creation". I started to share free lwps for RainWallpaper the last period when that cool free program came out and I didn't find that this was wrong, because simply these are vids already posted in a lot of sites already. And when I know more about the original creator or artwork, I immediately update the descriptions. Instead of the topics of the other sites where doesn't exist one damn credit there! It's curious that the creators are against me here that I simply re-upload vids already posted in many sites already, but for the other people who took their drawings in the first place for create lwps there no problem or any complain! Sorry but I don't understand that.. It's all about sharing cool free stuff that remains free without any personal gain. I can understand that DeviantArt is more for "personal creations presentation" but it's also a site to share things. In any case only thing is for sure: that I didn't want and of course I still don't want to create confusion and misunderstandings or pass for the guy who steal artworks because this has nothing to do with these free mp4 files and what I'm doing here! I'm not a prof designer in my real life or I'm doing this for living. I have no reason to do it and I don't need it either! I accept that maybe the presentation of these lwps topics was not so right, and posting only the screenshot from a lwp seemed that it was a steady image or a wallpaper and yes this was wrong from my part and I apologize for it. That's why I'm spending hours these days adding this watermark to show to the people what is all about.
I will strongly considerate your idea to post them in my journal instead of deviations! And if I can move them there through my gallery's options I will do this without any problem. The fact is these files must be in .zip format (RainWallpaper packaged format) to run directly with the program's online gallery and I don't think that DA's Journal supports to upload files there. I think that it's only for texts. As I said many times I post these lwps here just to share and to help RainWallpaper DA version gallery to grow, because all these lwps at the end are categorized there.
Thank you

As i though the artstyle seems familiar since i also follow this artist
Can you at least credit the original artist if you use his work for your own?
Instead his watermark even removed from this drawing
The original drawing:

Of course! As I write to the description, these are free vids ported to RainWallpaper. So I put the original source (download site) and the user who submitted it. Unfortunately I'm not able to know more! So if someone , like you now for example, can give more info about a particular art and the original artwork ,even before the vids was created, I have absolutely no problem add it to the description too! I never claim that I'm the original designer..
Thank you
