Moby Dick degree project work.Double page spread depicting the battle between Moby Dick and the Pequod's crew. The shadowed character in the foreground is Ahab, approaching the whale who is busy killing his crew. Out of the whole project I like this image the most purely because I think for once using colour in my work builds a great atmosphere, and it got me back into painting practice too

From seeing your other images, I would agree with you that this is the best. I love how the dark shadows of Ahab contrast the white of the whale. The red in the sky is a nice touch. Also, the action in this is great. It almost doesn't go with the other images that seem a lot more static.
