I have some sort of weakness for Golems or Rock Monsters or anything of the sorts. For some reason, I find rocks and stuff like that incredibly fun to paint.With this piece, I wanted to create a character that breathes tranquillity and wisdom, just through his appearance alone. Again, a lot of practising with lighting and colour schemes.

Definitely! There is something extremely satisfying about drawing each chunk of rock and painting the lighting and stuff. The fun part with golems is that you can go any which way you want, whether it be different elements or something, different types of rock, man-made or natural etcetera etcetera.

The colors and design are great! Certain areas might benefit from greater contrast, since there's so much detail, but this is still epic
