Your daughter is so beautiful....those eyes!!! You're in trouble when she gets older!!! You'll be following her around on dates (if you allow her to have them)
I have to tell you I beagles too!!! I have two of them...Daisy and Duke!!! Great shot Jimmy!!!

trouble when she's older? i'm in trouble now!! she's only 6 and wants to be 16. she's a little fashion diva and loves clothes. no, she's not snotty nor stuck up but she is very much a girl. i'm hoping to keep her a little girl for quite some time longer.... 30 years longer if i had my way.

Them's the rules!!! No dating until you're 35 or 36!!! If you get her to promise now...like everyday...later on you can say "but you promised"!!!!!!!

oh i've tried that already... "don't ever get married because daddy will be very very sad-promise." her mom on the other hand is more han appy to push the issue.

NOW, i have another daughter who is 2 years younger and i can not wait to get her married. in fact, i've already started trying to get her married (JK). i tell my wife, i can't wait for her to be some other guy's problem.

pushing one and holding the other back? I believe not what my eyes are reading!!! Actually, it looks like my 21 yr old is moving out sometime this week Am I too obvious? Should I tone it down a bit?

my 4 year old and i butt heads a lot... i figure if i get her out of the house before she starts dating.... the better i'll be. my 7 year old daughter however is staying put until she's 80 or i'm dead- which ever comes first.

The dead thing...be careful...arrangements can be made!!! My oldest is the one that needs the most protection and at the same time he's also the one that causes so much trouble!!! The youngest (19) is quiet and never says anything!!! He's always under the radar....but never does anything wrong!!! They're both smart as a whip.....but total opposites!!! Motherhood...wouldn't trade it for the world!!!!

oh you couldn't pay me to be a mom couldn't pay me to be a daycare worker either AND four of the kids would be mine!

no, i love being a dad. i only wish i had more patience and more time. some days it feels like i'm being pulled in a million directions.

i'm certain that on some days, my youngest daughter and son have plans or are in the midst of making plans to either kill me or drive me nutz.

Four? You're brave.... Put up your wind chimes...it'll distract them!!! Make it and they will be mesmerized by it!!!
Right now my oldest is telling me I need to give him and his girlfriend this furniture, that fan, this TV to move into the house he'll be sharing with another guy! They want to move in together and have found a guy who wants to rent a room in his 3bdr 1bth house...only problem is they have nothing!

this will be a great experience for them then... let's rob mom so we can be semi-independent and live together like adults only to come and rob mom's refrigerator later

i can remember when i moved out... i had my bed, some milk crates that were used for night stands and a radio. ahhh... the good old days. i appreciate them... they make me appreciate the life i have now and my mother and the house she provided for me. hopefully it'll have the same effect on your oldest.

From your lips to His ears!!! I hope this all goes well!!! Mothers love it when you come home for dinner, we even love it if you have to steal some food to take home with you!!! It's everything else I worry about! I can only control me, myself and I!!!

That is really cool, photo contests are always fun. I recently had a friend submit one of my photos of her baby to a child contest. Not sure whatever happened to the results of that contest, but being the photographer, it was quite nice knowing that my friend liked the photo enough to submit it. Hehe

Oh your daughter is gorgeous! you'll have to keep the boys at arms length within a couple of years! She is so sweet .. and the photo! gosh .. its a winner for sure, this one would make a great photo for a calander, the month January perhaps, when things are cold and grey, looking at this shot would make anyone feel warm ands happy inside... they are both smiling wonderfully!!! super job James!!!

JimmyOblues In reply to Buble [2007-10-02 12:29:05 +0000 UTC]

yes, she's gorgeous... she knows it too but isn't stuck up. she is definitely all girl. if you catch her when she doesn't know anyone is watching - she'll admire herself in the mirror, twirl in a dress or flick her hair. no, she's not stuck up but she does love being a girl.

as far as boys go.... i must add to my knife collection and or go out and purchase a few hunting rifles.... i am more than prepared for the moment the first fool comes knocking on my door.... oh so prepared. although, my daughter and i have a deal.... she's my sunshine (i used to sing her the song "you are my sunshine") and she will never get married.

i do believe the dog and my daughter make the shot. it is a wonderful and warm shot but some alterations have been made to get it to look like this...

i cropped it from the original size, used the lens blur effect on the background and then added a vingette to the photo.
