Here is a sniper concept I've done for PC game Clan Arena [link]The bipod is built-in and slides into place under the barrel.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist the blue lights, *don't kill me Arjen!*

nice job. seems a lot like the long shot rifle from gears of war, though i was always really annoyed that it didn't have a scholder stock when it definately needed one to work properly. good job, man!

Very stylish design, this and the other two weapons in this series on here.
Trigger guard is too small, but the rest of it rocks (yeah the lights look cool in the painting, regardless of the any arguments contrary or that a "sniper" wouldn't have lights to give them away, etc...)
I really like the concept of this series... and that biopod ROCKS. I wouldn't be surprised to see a real version in place like this soon... I'm surprised H&K hasn't caught on to this, or Olympic Arms, or even Panther or for that matter, Harris Bipods. What a GREAT real-world idea- transfers as much of the load BACK to as close to the bearer as possible for easier carrying and movement. DUH!

the only thing that strikes me as needing to be changed is the eyepiece to the scope... as it stands, the recoil would blind the operator
