For anybody who's seen the Kung Fu Panda T.V. series Legends of Awesomeness, you probably noticed that the Furious Five keep geting the Worf Effect while Po is a blatent Marty Stu. Apperently the writers noticed the complaints we had and made this episode to appease the fanbase!

The episode begins with Po regaling his fan club with a story about the Furious Five's battle with a past rougue but they couldn't care less about them! They're only interested in the Dragon Warrior! Nowadays no one seems interested with the Five anymore. It dosen't help matters when the Five deal with Hundun and Po gets all the credit for THEIR work! And yes, the Five can now take on Hundun (The very same Hundun who neutralized the Furious Five and their weaknesses.) by themselves in this episode!

But it gets much worse at the Jade Palace when Shifu unveils a portrait of Po being lifted by the Five! The Five themselves accurately point out that while they have done so much for the people and their master without so much as a "thank you Furious Five", Po keeps getting praised even after all the times he screws up! Which is actually quite a bit if you follow the episodes where he does screw up!

Shifu then snaps at the Five saying that Po is exceptionally better than them prompting Tigress, the most loyal and deticated to Master Shifu to actually say no to him and quit with the rest of the Five following suit! Shifu tells them that if they leave the Jade Palace, they'll be blacklisted. So the Furious Five decide to start their own temple! At Ping's Noodle Shop! So yeah, tempers do flare up a bit for the Five and they aren't doing too great alone in their self exile. But they refuse to return to Shifu who doesn't appreciate his own students. And likewise, Shifu himself doesn't feel like apologizing to the Five even if his life depended on it!

Meanwhile, Junjie (In a new look and NO Creepy Leopards with him!) has heard the strife between students & master and frees and recruits Hundun to deal with their now seperated enemies. They plan on getting rid of the Furious Five, but because of Po's clichéd "Bring everybody together again to save myself in trouble" plan, the arguements escolate with the Five leaving the Valley of Peace altogether thus making it even more easy for the villains!

Back at the Jade Palace, Po calls Shifu out on him just letting the Five leave the Valley. Shifu doesn't think they need the Five, but Po disagrees stating that the Five were pretty much family to him and Shifu! Amist the sadness, Hundun and Junjie barge in blasting Shifu and capture Po! Their evil plan involves using the fire gems that they scattered throughout the Valley in which Junjie will detonate while Hundun finishes off the mighty Dragon Warrior!

Elsewhere, the Furious Five are disapointed by no one taking them in but Tigress refuses to come crawling back to Shifu. Speaking of...Shifu finds the Five and tells them the situation back at the Valley and that everybody needs them...even Shifu himself! He then tells them that he was only focusing on Po over them because he needed more help than them! And I think that's a pretty legitimate reason that makes sense! The Furious Five HAVE been protecting the Valley in the past and are veterans compared to the new blood Po! What follows afterwords is Shifu TRYING to apologize to the Five and can't seem to spit it out immediately! He finally gets it out and it's rather sweet and amusing!

Back to Po, Hundun is ready to destroy him with the fire gems when the Furious Five come in and take him! Junjie lights the fuse and Po tells the others not to bother with him and stop the barrels of fire gems from blowing up the village! Each of the Five are able to take care of the barrels in their own ways AND still defeat both Junjie & Hundun! The Furious Five really shine here, taking out the bombs and Hundun with their skills and what resources they can use! The village finally praises the Five for their exploits and are welcomed back in Shifu's life with a grouphug!

What I like about this episode is how it's ending isn't condescending or patronising to anyone as both master & students are good for each other in the end! I also like how Series Tigress is actually acting more like Movie Tigress and for any who didn't like Shifu's treatment towards Tigress in the first movie, It might be satisfying for some to see her badmouth her master like that! Also it WAS funny when Mantis shouted jerk to Shifu! And unlike Goose Chase where the Five just came in one scene and fought Temutai off camera, the Five here are the central characters that fight onscreen! And this episode really did address what they did wrong in the Legends of Awesomeness series: Po getting the spotlight, the Furious Five getting the short end of the stick, and Po getting off scot free whenever he does something stupid!

I already watched it when it came on YTV, but I wanted to wait until Goose Chase before I posted this! I highly recommend this episode!

Po also acts more Cocky and sutpid in the series and Tigress is just a bitch to po she doesn't have a soft side to her either.
