Description Shown only for a few seconds before it was rebranded as Iron Patriot in the Movie, the War Machine Mark II is an awesome looking sleeker design. The base for this custom is a Iron man legends Iron Patriot with sculpted in joint holes, repainted with Testors Gunmetal, Formula P3 cold steel, and silver with black panel lining. Add in some tiny lettering/airforce symbols and the red/white ports and you get a really awesome looking War Machine!

I love this version over the "Iron Patriot" version since to me the Iron Patriot is evil due to Norman Osborn being under that suit.

Probably the best-looking War Machine ever. And a huge improvement over that "Iron Man 2.0" armor Rhodey had for a while a year or two ago. I usually complain about the comics copying elements from the movies (costume changes and arc reactors especially), but I would love it if the next War Machine suit looks like this beauty.

I don't even remember seeing this in the movie. But it looks awesome. I am so torn on whether or not to upgrade to the Mk 42 and Iron Patriot armors in my collection. I have War Machine and the Iron Avenger Mk 6 posed with my Avengers team now...

Oh, I knew about the Wave 1 figures with the comic-style Iron Patriot, the Golden Age IM, and the Bleeding Edge armor, but not Wave 2 with the movie figures and Ultron.

Much as I like the Red, White, and Blue paint job on Iron Patriot, that Grayscale of War Machine seems so much more menacing. Love it.
