I like the way you drew the shark with all those bits that make it look like it's shining or something because it makes it look more streamlined and matches how fishes bodies are supposed to be slippery and rubbery. I think it's awesome. although it looks more like a mix between space and the sea, but even then you can kind of see what you were aiming for. all around aweshumness. XD
I want to ask though, why a shark? and a whale shark in particular. no offense or judgement. just curious.

Yeah I try to get the anatomy and lines correct whenever I draw sharks because I studied their anatomy for a while and I really don't want to forget
Because I love sharks c: But this was mostly inspired when I was looking through some photos I took of a whaleshark when I went to an aquarium, they're majestic

I love going to the aquarium, that is one of my happy places c: minus all the tourists. Eh I love deep sea fish and baracuda, those guys are cool.
Actually if a shark is in a place with good water current it can just sit down on the sand and let the water flow through its gills. Not sure how big whale sharks get but the ones at the aquarium near me are pretty small for them, but the ones there are maybe four or five people across [if they were laying down] if I remember correctly

still pretty big. XD so they're bred at the aquarium? probably why they're smaller than average. where do whale sharks live anyways? (other than the obvious answer. XD)

eh some tourists are REALLY pushy like damn man I know you want to see the fish but the fish aren't going anywhere chill out. I do like angler fish too though, and barracuda are soooo shiny and gorgeous. I love land animals too of course, like my cat c:
I don't really know how fish sleep but I'm guessing they could sleep for a few hours, some fish sleep while swimming so not sure though
I don't think any whale sharks have been bred at the aquarium, but I know a manta ray was, and a couple of other species. Whale sharks live around Asia in the oceans I think, don't know if they're world-wide or not

seems like you have a certain dislike for visitors of countries who's favourite weapon is their cameras and foreign accents. XD
but you seem to be the type who might get excited over the prospect of gazing at sea creatures. XD so I wonder if the tourists have a fear or dislike of you. wonder what it'd be called. gingaphobia? XD kinda rolls off the tongue don't you think?
what other fish do you like? of course since you seem to like sharks I wonder if you dislike dolphins?

that's kinda interesting. I believe I've heard of birds that sleep while flying. kind of freaky if you think about it. we have sleep walking while they have sleep flying, swimming and standing if you count things like horses. XD
do they only have one whale shark? manta rays are kinda scary. with their barbed tail and all. but they seem nice if you don't frighten or threaten them. well how large is asia exactly? and where is it? I'm honestly asking this question since lots of people say how there's asia but no one says what asia encompasses. is it only places with Asian colonies or what? not trying to be racist or whatever. QaQ
