Yeah, so for Taang Week by I've decided to try something which may or may not backfire on me... I'mma gonna draw a short comic, one page for every day and based on the day's prompt.Most likely it's gonna be a bit messy and unprofessional-looking, but... The trick is to integrate plot and the words, and that's more of what I'm hoping for.
So for today: Tease. If it's extremely confusing and Toph seems to be acting OOC, don't worry... the premise will be explained in the next page, Games.

Why does this keep happening to me? I watch something when I was young and just believe the canon romance was the best like in Harry Potter and Avatar and now that I'm older I see how two character's fit better together...like Toph and Aang or Luna and Harry

I just got a dA account, but I read this series to "Such Big Ears" before and I'm thrilled to find that it's still in progress. I love your art. The characters are all rendered wonderfully, the comic flows through the panels easily, and the effect-panels like the chibi-versions off to the side are fantastic. I love this series!

Well... from most fanfic media i've seen, they always portray her as a seducing individual (sometimes to start a ship). It's tiring and redundant, but I guess I couldn't blame them for doing that because of her close character related attribute.

Heh, well I don't know about seductive... at the age she and Aang currently are, seduction probably doesn't even register on teh radar. I guess people would rely on the fact that when they grow older their thoughts might change...?

change? a path that you grew up with doesn't change. It becomes intense, or in her case, worse (even more worse if it starts too early). Starting with a cactus juice, and a bad ass attitude, It's a struggle to do change for good if it's all too late.
We just doesn't realize it, but writing stories and drawing arts of kissing and drunk cactus juice and all, doesn't consider the innocent age of the character has.
But then, I won't take this all seriously since their fictional characters. Thank heavens I hope I won't have children like them

? Alright, excuse me if I'm completely wrong... but I get this feeling that you're trying to express criticism of the plot of this little comic I have. Frankly, I don't think that canon!Toph and Aang would act this way either... but then again Kataang happened in canon. And Kissing has happened in the canon... see Aang and Katara kiss, ad nauseum. Sokka got drunk on cactus juice in canon as well.
We all have different perceptions of the same characters, and I'm doing my best to convey what I believe is an amusing, different take, esp. given the prompts I was given. The best thing is not to take it too seriously, and if you don't like the topic, moving on is always an option. Thank you for voicing your opinion, however, and for taking the time to respond.

Well i return the compliment, and I did say that I wont take it seriously. sometimes It's just hard to avoid an argument when fic chars we like get controversial influences in real life.

Well, like I said I don't own the characters, and controversy depends on the perception of the person. Just drawing fanart for the series is fun, and it's intended as a tribute to the authors for creating such a wonderful imaginaryworld. ...and SO, in conclusion, perhaps we should end with this comment. I'm not a Taang supporter, but I like to read about the impossible(well, as stated by Mike and Brian). Still liked Tokka, but the age difference, then more Suki, and, well, that dream was gone before it started.

Really? ^^ I sometimes have to struggle with some of their proportions... Toph's usually cooperative, but Aang insists on being wiffly on occasion.
I checked out your gallery, and I just remembered why your Username was so familiar... You drew that really pretty "Don't Forget Taang" pic from around when the TSC spoilers came out!
