Why is it not helping at all?

Nope.The steps of coloring are basic knowledge.Actually doing it is the real deal.Just showing the result isn't helpful at all.Not to mention that it's different for every hairstyle.It's like cooking a meal from a cookbook and the only instructions you have is picture of the meal.So overall it's not a "HOW TO",but more like steps for this deviation.Repeating myself once again,the art itself is pretty cool,but this isn't a tutorial.

This is an art work not a meal. Not everybody must do the same thing in the same way.
Everybody should have their own style of how to paint. I just show how to paint in my style I won't write every steps because I'm not an art teacher and I don't want anyone to follow my paint style. I don't want people COPY my work. Just learn how to do and get over it by themselves is the best thing to do.

Hard Round 9 pixels and make it bigger or smaller as normal way.

One last thing, do you change the flow and opacity? What would you recommend they be when you paint hair or shade?

I change the opacity all the time when I paint. The opacity I always use about 40-100%
็Hair hi-light about 70%
Shade about 15-20%
