The first impression most people get from Yuuki is usually not a memorable one - he's like the average guy in your class who's relatively friendly, gets along with most people, and has average grades. If he had anything notable, it'd be his green hair, and the fact that he comes from a family of florists. As a frequent helper at his family’s flower store, he had always served customers with a welcoming smile and comforting small talk, helping them with their floral needs as he listened to them about their day. Responsible and diligent, he makes sure that every order and request is handled with utmost care - just like how the Itos have always done so. Persistence and humility had always been one of the core values of the family; and Yuuki, as the youngest, had always held these values close to his heart.
Yuuki is also someone who could get very passionate about things he likes - once located, he’d invest in it without much thought. Tunnel visioning on his goals is a common occurrence for him, and while it could get a bit troublesome at times, after seeing how determined he is, his family and friends usually don’t have the heart to pull him back. His workspaces often get messy during times like these - don’t worry, he has his own way of navigating through it. Just don’t touch anything on his table.
That being said, when it comes to things that he cares less about, Yuuki is one to have little opinions, and even less motivation to push it through. As someone who prefers to see everyone happy and avoid conflict, he doesn’t speak up much. Even when prompted, he still has a tendency to keep most things to himself - people may find him a bit evasive at times like these. As a man who prefers to have the focus of the conversation on someone else, Yuuki speaks little about himself, giving off an impersonal impression to people who want to pry further.

【 𝙷𝙸𝚂𝚃𝙾𝚁𝚈 】
Born into a household of florists in Sapporo, Yuuki had spent his life mostly around nature. When he wasn’t running around in local parks and leisure spaces with his friends, he was at the shop, learning the names and hanakotoba of the flowers. It was no surprise that when he was old (and tall) enough, Yuuki had started to help out at his store, giving customers suggestions on what plants they may want to keep in their rooms, or what flowers they should get for their special someone. For the most part, his childhood was a pleasant, and uneventful one.
It was around middle school when it happened - a flower shop ran by a large chain had settled in their neighbourhood, offering a similar variety of flowers but at a much more affordable price. Its location was also closer to the train station, making it much more convenient for a lot of people - including the regulars that visited Yuuki’s flower shop. Granted, they still had the best customer service around - but sometimes, busy salarymen just didn’t have the time to walk all the way into the narrow streets just to visit the local florist for their floral needs. Gradually, the amount of regular clients that frequented the Ito’s had slowly decreased.
Saddened by how less and less people came to the store to visit, Yuuki wanted to help his family’s business somehow. Noticing how he had been in low spirits for an extended period of time, his friends got worried and decided to bring him out for a leisurely excursion around Hokkaido. As someone who had never really visited the rowdy tourist attractions, Yuuki found it to be a breath of fresh air. One spot in particular stuck to his mind - Otaru, a small harbour town just half an hour northwest of Sapporo. Seeing how the town was able to integrate nature seamlessly into western medieval styled architecture sparked something in Yuuki.
Perhaps, if more buildings started incorporating more greenery in their spaces, there would be a higher demand for flowers and customised arrangements? And he knew, better than anyone, that his family’s dedication to their area of expertise, as well as their attention to customer’s needs. It might feel like a far fetched dream right now, but it’s not impossible, right? Connecting his family’s florist with big corporations who want to greenify their areas, and bringing a bit more color to the cold, rigid buildings in his town.
If he were to take this into his hands, however - the first step meant that he’d have to gain some sort of qualification. Seeing that a local university, Toridai, was located close to his home and offered international standard courses in architecture - his mind was set. He wasn’t the brightest student just yet, but he still had some years to make up for the time he’s lost.
With the support and encouragement from his family, and many, many study groups with his friends later, he stepped onto the campus grounds of ToriDai for his entrance exam. Hopefully, his efforts and passion will be noticed by the architecture professors there!
