Description
While her partner Hugh is out doing his shady "bussiness", Natalie likes to hang back(not like she had the choice) and get into a good book. She spends the evenings reading, trying to escape the seasonal heat.Poor Natalie! I wonder if she ever gets lonley with her overly attractive, mysterious partner...???

Overly attractive, mysterious partner? Yes, yes he is.
I can imagine the scene now...initiate writer's vision:
Hugh sighed and stood up. "Hm?" Natalie sat up from the bed, "Where are you going?"
"Out. I'll be back in a little while. If I'm late, don't look for me; we've never met, okay?" He picked up his bag, slinging it over his shoulder.
"Um, right," she replied. He left without a goodbye, as usual. She sighed and fell back onto the bed.
It had been nearly a month since they had started traveling together, so she understood the rules. He did deal with police rather well, and when his charisma was no longer working, he just knocked them out.
She still worried, just a little, about his safety. Pulling out a new book she had bought in the town, she rolled onto her side to read, "'Once upon a time', how cliche." She said, "'there was a prince who's heart was cold as ice...'"

Lol that's great! He just knocks them out, thats the solution to everything for him.
I like how you kinda foreshadow with the book.

...I don't know...like...7? Only a month later, so probably 7 or eight. 1-4 take place in about two days, so there may be an amount of time skipping as they go from one town to the next. I won't skip the entire month, but just a few days here and there.
