(I am answering both you and other you ask this) ponytube.org is web site being created where artists can display all kinds of content from other sites. meaning we get something like youtube, dA, fimfiction (i think), soundcloud, etc all wrapped together into one place. The site wont be the first place where any content is posted, but rather a user would be able to view all of someones content from the mentioned websites in one place. Info can be found in the FAQ at ponytube.org

I am not affiliated with them but I'm talking about this because I'm sort of excited about it.

Ah, well then I will still have to wait for someone to figure out a new video sharing site that is actually good. I would do it but I don't have the knowledge or power to accomplish it.

maybe these guys will do fine. the site wont be ready for a while but it still might turn out to be pretty good. you can try apply to be in the alpha and then you can see for yourself how it is and probably give ideas and thoughts and whatnot.
