I have to say you did an awesome job. The colors are amazing and the lighting effect is one of the best example of a professional level. Also the female wizard is beautiful, cute, and even a little sexy. Congrats on the work!

Dude, it's a drawing of a fictional character. If you want realism there are plenty of better alternatives out there for you to enjoy!

There are types of stylization that work and types where, when compared to the detail and realism of the rest of the image, a quirk like this falls into uncanny valley and looks like a mistake. This qualifies as the latter. It upsets me because this artist doesn't normally make a mistake this glaring.
What's worse, this is a common feature of erotica and Western comics where parading the sexual assets has become so important to the readers, the artists, and all parties in between that nobody is jarred by the inconsistency of work quality anymore and the artist is not held accountable for maintaining or improving their skill. Not to mention it speaks unflattering volumes about the artists' priorities when one sex is contorted/distorted to show off their assets significantly more than, or to the total exclusion of, the other.

First off you are really over thinking this. Also please remember that this is HER art and SHE can do whatever she pleases, she's not even making you pay to see her work then why complain about something YOU find wrong? Does she go and tell you how to drive and act a certain way in your life, most likely not! As for the quality of the work and her "accountability for maintaining or improving her skill" that is something she has to decide for herself and you have no right to demand how someone's art should be, she has individual rights for freaking sake! Furthermore while sexiness is an element found in most media that does not mean it's a bad thing. Just look at ancient India then you will see sexuality is part us as a species and is nothing to be of shamed off. However if you think this art is themed on sexuality then you are sorely mistaken. Lastly so what if she draws males and females differently, she's not hurting anyone and everyone has the right to express themselves. Although I looked and I really didn't see any difference on how she draws males and females so maybe you need to take break and chill. It seems to me you are taking something personally that you have NO influence on (do you really think throwing negativity like you did would make her improve or feel okay!) If you are so upset about this then go and view something else or wait until she makes something you think is cool (why be negative when you can be a positive factor), it's not healthy wanting to stay focused on something that makes you upset.

"Upset" was the wrong word. I'm just disappointed because it's a mistake I never expected her to make at her level, and I tried to be humorous about pointing it out. You seem to be taking this awfully personally yourself. It's rather patronizing to the artist to be offended on her behalf. It's one goof-up that I only bothered to point out because it's atypical for the artist, it has negative associations, and most importantly, in this piece it's easy to fix. Literally all she'd have to do is erase the bikini bottom and the far butt-cheek.
The second paragraph in my previous comment was describing the industry where you typically see this mistake, not her. And I'm not saying sexuality is something to be ashamed of, just that it doesn't excuse bad anatomy when the artist knows better. The ancient Indian art you describe? That's a combination of stylization and naivety typical of that era.

Again you don't seem to git it. If she wants to "fix" it then she will, it's not your job to point it out! If you really care about her then you would allow her to naturally see and determine what are "mistakes" in her art. Second the statement "combination of style and naivety typical of that era" is completely wrong. It was and is a philosophical understanding of the bound between humans on a physical and spiritual level. I'm done arguing. I completely agree, I just wish everyone can accept drawing are just drawing sometimes and in the end it's up to the artist to decide what is right or wrong with their creation. I honestly only got into the argument in order to show support for the artist, I generally really hate being a bother to anyone.

But it is like what you just said it's just a drawing and why would reality matter. For example gems can't become human but that is a show, clocks don't malt like they do in those famous illustrations, and a girl named Alice didn't actually fall down a rabbit-hole! I can't stand it when people try put something in the standards of reality when their is no baring for it, she's a wizard so who says she even has normal non flexible bones! Believe me when I say I don't want to start another fight, I just want you to see where I'm coming from. You seem nice so I wish you great luck and give you a tip of my hat.
