This weekend was FanExpo Vancouver 2013! I only made one new costume for this convention and that was Emma Frost -- and I was freaking coooold but fabulous! After reading Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men I really wanted to cosplay Emma Frost. She is a really interesting character and has been on either end of the spectrum, evil and good, bitchy and generous, strong and vulnerable. Plus she always has great outfits! This costume was a challenge to make, mostly because gravity doesn't work the same in real life as it does in comics! Also, for some reason, I kept bleeding on the costumes so there are little spots on it... which was so frustrating! But once it was all put together, I was really happy! Me and my friend saw a glimpse of you at fanexpo, and we were both super excited to see a quality Emma Frost cosplayer (emma frost is one of my favourite comic book characters of all time)
