Do you usually have a set palette? Mine is usually fairly simple. That sky is nice...

I have several palettes, they are usually chinese take away container lids, one set of colours mainly used for skin tones etc., but the others vary for land and seascapes though I haven't used violet much before it suited this sky in particular.....

Thanks! Was the desert soothing? What did you do there that was interesting? There is a book called Desert Solitaire, have you read it. Our comp teacher had us read it. He was into hiking in the wilderness alone. He would carry a fishing pole because I guess he felt odd being alone there when people would see him. It would be odd being alone in the open spaces.

I think I only read parts of it. I think I may pick it up again some day. The guy that wrote it was an interesting environmentalist I believe.
