Submission for the latest AH.com flag challenge.Lusitania is essentially a republican Portuguese empire.
The UK of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves lasts a little longer, but eventually succumbs into republicanism.
Colours : Blue for Portugal, Green for Brazil, White for other possessions.
Three Red Stripes : Unidade, Prosperidad, Liberdade (the motto of the Republic)
Plus the national emblem in the centre.
