The towering Makati buildings scraped the sky, their cold and chrome structure glistening in the tropical night. Their windows shone like stars, taking out the stars God put into the dark sky. Down here, people flow through the street, making busy hustle and bustle sounds. Makati throbs with a promise - good or bad, I didn't know - but it hooked me. The whiff of adrenaline-like risk and danger. My heart was beating faster than usual. Makati was alive and about to enter right into the thick of it.
