Hmmm... I would love to stay there for a while. I especially like the contrast of the warm light on the settlement against the steely grey clouds in the distance. The darkness there gives you the impression that this island watchtower is utterly isolated... if not the only island at all. And yet it appears to be a happy place nonetheless.

Good observations. Yes, it's meant to be a pleasant place located in the middle of harsh nature that protects it from bandits and such.
