This is perhaps the most powerful SMX fighter in the universe. Artist's Block is a sinister abomination with a goal in mind: erase inspiration, ideals, and everyone out of existence. He starts out as a big cube with mean looking eyes. Most people don't seem to mind this at all, finding it to be all funny-looking. But push it's buttons and, well, it's not funny anymore.

When it really loses it, Artist's Block transforms into the shadowy entity known as Artist's Soul, complete with multiple forms inspired by Master Core. It usually takes on a humanoid form and can use its other forms as part of its attacks. But wait, there's more! For anyone it chooses not to erase right away, it instead absorbs them into its shadowy biomass, copies their DNA, and gains their powers and corrupted appearance, before the absorbed fighters finally fade away. For instead, copying Bolt's DNA will have it take on the form you see to the right of the picture. It's like looking at a dark mirror, no doubt.

Artist's Block/Soul is nothing but pure corruption energy in the form of a fighter, and a very deadly one to even be in the presence of. It appears as the final boss alongside Virus and Archanite in some installments, but is probably the true catalyst antagonist of the series overall.

Where did this thing come from, anyway? Is it possible that it may related to the villain of the whole universe Galaxus? Only time will tell...
