For my first entry (there may be more entries, I haven't decided yet) I chose the black fire opal and was inspired by this pic of the amazing gem Black Fire Opal
As you can see I tried to recreate the many vibrant colors against the dark background onto the dress and since there are so many varieties of opal I added a few with her jewelry.

Opal is a diverse gem coming in many colors such as white opal , dragons breath fire opal , and red fire opal

My eye was really caught by the black fire opal, it seemed to be teaming with life and on fire. I'm amazed by the natural things found in this world, our Creator certainly did not create a boring or dull world!
This paragraph below talks about the emotional impact these gems can have and I believe they hit the nail on the head so I thought I'd share.
