Description
This is my test strip for a new comic strip I have called Silent Sillies. My goal is to make a comic strip as if it were an old silent cartoon, so NO word bubbles! (I may do an occasional sound effect)I have a few more ideas for strips that I hope to get done soon. I'm really obsessing over this idea and I hope you like it! If you want to see new ones of these as soon as I post them then give me a 'watch' and I hope I don't disappoint...

I like the stretchy and rubbery limbs, and some things are exaggerated well, but others not so much. Such as in the 3rd panel, Wally's pose is the same as the first panel. He looks annoyed because Sidney didn't apologise, rather than because he was stood on. Not sure what the intention was with this though. If he was angry about being stood on, I would probably have him holding his foot in that panel to show it still hurts and that's what he was angry about.
Also, the 1st two panels were a little confusing for me. At first I thought they were walking together. After re-reading it I thought Wally was trying to trip Sidney. I just think it's the foot positions. And Sidney's right foot stepping on Wally (who was on Sidney's left) seemed a little odd too.
I really like the expressions in the last two panels, especially the 5th. Overall I like it and think it's a good start, but the readability let's it down a bit.

I made this in Adobe Illustrator so swaping Sidney's feet is an easy fix. I also like the idea of Wally holding his foot! I was thinking Wally was mad about his foor being stepped on, but I didn't think to have him holding his foot to help explain that. That is a great idea!

I have to be honest, while I thought the concept was pretty creative and interesting, I didn't think it would turn out so well. But this is actually pretty neat, I like it.

Wally Wolf is a real jerk-off. Sidney Squirrel steps on his foot by accident and he kicks him in the ass on purpose to get even.
