Initially yes, when I was first starting to learn how to draw anthro/furry stuff I was largely inspired by him. (More original stuff didn't come until later once I started to get a grip on how to do things)

So...are you saying that her particular species name is Fox? Because I always get confused as to when to refer to them by their group species name (Nivean) or the animal species they seem to be βevolvedβ from (Fox).
Also, from what I read in your comic, Sara doesnβt seem like the kind of Nivean who would kill a chicken unless she had a good reason to do so

Basically its like how CidYoshi says. It works a bit like how we tend to classify humans into different races based on their physical appearance or native homeland.
And yeah she's been known to kill and eat a thing or two, purely out of necessity though (eat or starve)
