Captured by the dread Black golems (The Borg), she was forcibally remade into one of them. But the the Collective soon discovered it had bitten off more than it could chew. For as they expanded their ranks, adding in more and more of the Faerie, so too did the Faerie aquire greater and greater influence within the Collective. It swiftly became obvious that it was a race the evil golems couldn't win. In addition to their growing losses, for each fairy they managed to capture and turn, the magic of Faerie managed to convert two of them into their own. Worse the rate was increasing exponantially.

The golem hive mind, perhaps distracted by an attack on yet another front, dediced to cut its losses. But not before several more bio-mechanical cyber fairies escaped the ordered self-destruction.

While she will forever bear the scars from her ordeal, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Tinker and Nurse fairies, FRE was now truely free.
