Reposting of commissioned art

Long ago in a distant land, I was having card sized art pictures done with the intention of using them as name badges, inserting a plastic overlay that hand my name into the holder with the art as background. When the astist asked me for time to work on it at home, I was more than happy to let her.

Arriving via mail was this lovely piece. The only problem, she was just a little to large. And with Julia said I could trim to size, I could not bear the though to cutting almost 1/2 an inch from the top. Instead she's become one of the prized physical items on my work desk, complete with small easle as with the scanned copy serving as my computer background.

If you ever get the chance, you can see Julia's coloring work decorating Mike Grell's art on DC Comics Warlord, Green Arrow / Shado, and Jon Sable freelance as well as numerous other books as well as her own collection of art.
