Thank you for posting this! I was browsing your lovely art, and was about to ask if you had any speed-paints or any way to see your process and learn from it, when I came across this in your gallery. It's just what I was hoping for! I've always loved landscape paintings, and I've just begun looking into how to make them myself, so this is very helpful. Do you use photoshop brushes for the textures on the plants, grass and trees ?

Nope, they're some i downloaded from dA. There should be plenty of them in the resource section

Although there is actually not that much change between the last two steps, I think it's really impressive what difference the lighting and shadows you added makes. The third picture is still kind of... flat. The fourth is a lot more vivid and natural looking. Pretty cool!

Yeah often the picture doesnt fully come together until the end and that final polish is what makes the difference
