Prismacolor on watercolor paper 7"x8"A new challenge for me, but I really enjoyed the process!

Since you're using watercolour paper, perhaps you've noticed how textured/course it is. It's purely at your discretion though I feel if you tried burnishing some areas, it would really add to the drawing. I.e. lower the contrast of the jarring paper texture in the background and some midground elements using a white/colourless pencil.
Your use of colour is otherwise incredibly accurate. Keep it up!

Thank you. Yes the paper was a little overly coarse, but I left the background purposely grainy, I really like the effect of the pencil texture in my work, don't want it all smooth and waxy.

Now worries about that! Your works looks spectacular right from the thumbnail. On the flip side, burnishing could instead add to areas of emphasis to create a finer surface to make details more crisp. Again, only a suggestion.
