I worked on this off and on for about a week. I hate the hair, I couldn't see it properly in the reference photo so I just did whatever and it looks stupid. But I give up. Maybe someday I'll go back and fix it.hope you like it

because I live in a very small crappy town, that has a tiny theatre which only plays one movie a week. and that's only fri,sat,sun and mon. So I'm going to the city to see them, cause I'm going there for a wedding anyway.

And I realy like how his glasses turned out.The hair is Ok.You could have done it darker perhaps ( so the pencil strokes wouldn't be so evident) but it's a lovely portrait

Great drawing... I think the hair looks fine...your getting so good what material did you use for this drawing...did you use pencil, graphite? I found vine charcoal to be my favorite material to draw with I posted 2 of the drawings I did with it but it didn't come out good because I had to take a pic of it because my stinking scanner is not working. I will post more later when my scanner starts working if I ever get it fixed lol

Thanks! I used a 6B pencil and a 2B mechanical pencil and smudgers..
That's okay I babble at people all the time myself so I really don't mind.
That sucks about your scanner, I don't know what I'd do with out mine *horror!*

It looks like you did work really hard on it and it's amazing. I think it could use stronger darks though. Too much mediums, dark mediums, and light mediums. There isn't that strong dark though there is some ligh darks in some places. Overall, really good work. I love the mouth. I can never get expressions good.
