I feel like... this is just fucked up in every way and I should hate this drawing with a fiery passion... but I also don't. I dunno... it bothers me... but I like things about it...yeah... idk... Anyway, I've been told that if Roald is supposed to be kind of a fat guy I should draw him so. And I agreed. I need to stop being embarrassed or shy or whatever was holding me back about it.

I like his design! The extra weight is something that's pretty lacking in character designs, and I think it synergizes with his pose nicely here. I don't really know anything about the character, but this picture makes him look like an adventurer of some sort, and one who's been around the block a few times.
