Description Drew inspiration from the art from a current game I'm playing called Mount and Blade Warband: Viking Conquest DLC. These dwarves are wearing danish/saxon armor and equipment from the viking era.

Seeing that dwarves are from norse mythology I will say it seems quite fitting tnat they armed and armored, norse style.
