Thank you very much. The reason why the shoes are clearer than the portrait is because the face was a little blurred. I enjoyed doing the detail tho'
The solid blacks were done in Windsor and Newton Gouache and the grey shades are a mixture of brown and blue watercolour.

She is, what I regard, as pure perfection.
It's a shame that her court appearance has dampened her film output for a while, but now she seems to be emerging again.
I rarely use watercolour these days, but I think I'll get them out again. I think they are the most relaxing art media to use.

I was using a photograph that was blurred around the top half, and I do enjoy doing detail work, so I really poured the detail in the shoes.
I have been told to crop Ryder out of it and have the shoes be the focus, but I would never crop my Winona Ryder!.
