FFExplorer is my favourite fractal program (and I have made fractals with more than 50 different programs). It is too the fractal software I have used more often the past two years.
Hints about this particular fractal: I guess you have downloaded the external pack of palettes that are in the web of FFExplorer. I used one of the palettes called Zoot (there are 9 of them, try them) and look around the top right of the main view of the fractal after i ntroducing the paramters.

I wrote a small tutorial for an user. It can be useful for you.
FFExplorer is slow (it only uses one thread and it doesn't use graphical acceleration) but has a lot of unique features and it is very stable. The author is working on an external render that will be multithread.
Anyway, the unregistered version of the program is limited to the monitor resolution, but registered users can render images up to 16 megapixels (that is 4096x4096, or 8192x2048 or any other combination). To register the software you need to make around 10 fractals with it (they must be at least moderately good), publish them somewhere in the internet (DA, FB, Flickr, some blog, etc, indicating that they have been made with FFExplorer) and contact the author through email or facebook (info in his web) and you will be provided with a key to register the program. The author is very approcheable.
If you have doubts, contact me.
