LOL Well, I think age has nothing to do with it when it comes to Avatar! My whole family loves it---my Dad especially is frikkin' foaming at the mouth waiting for the live action movie to come out. X3 And of course I love it too! X3

OMG I know right? At first I was exited that Shyamalan was directing it, but after his latest hit and misses, I'm not so sure. It LOOKS awesome, but then, so did The Happening. That's what marketing is for---I mean, people are going to see it no matter what. So the pressure to make it actually GOOD isn't that high, you know?

I think the biggest challenge for fans will be not to compare it to the show... I mean, the show was really, really awesome by itself. There's not anything that could make it better, I think even live action, if translated too literally, would just be "blah". So in order for the movie to be good in it's own right, it's going to have to have some awesome factors of it's own. But we just have to be open to the changes; it would be impossible for Series Canon and Movie Canon to be the same. I think we're going to have to try to treat them like two separate things, in a way.

Wow, you don't happen to live in Ohio do you? Haha cuz I think we'd get along great! (: I could discuss Avatar for days...I'm thinking the problem fans are gonna have with the movie is that the characters are real...they won't and never could look EXACTLY like the cartoon. They can't make all those cute "anime" faces or stretch their bodies in funny emotion. It'll just have to be a good story with a creative twist. I have high hopes for it to be a decent movie, but really Live Action movies are normally a downer.

Like Dragonball...Omg....sooo bad in Live Action XD Did you see it?

ROFLMAO Ohio? Okay, bare with me, but I find this kind of hilarious: I used to live in California, in Jr. High I had a friend, we haven't talked since then, it's been years, etc. So I was on facebook, and this seemingly random person friends me, and they live in OHIO and I'm like, "Who are you?" and it's the friend from Jr. High when I lived in California. I didn't recognize her picture but of course I felt kind of stupid afterward... but yeah. Ohio. LULZ

PPPPFFFFF OMG I really wanted to see Dragonball but haven't yet. ;w; The plot seemed way different from the series so I was like, "Whuuuuuut?" but I still wanted to see it. Incidentally, me and my Dad used to watch DBZ together when I was a kid. X3 Vegeta = Veggie-Head LMAO

And yeah, I had a hard time with Momo... I don't draw critters all that often, and it's hard when it's a fantasy creature that has not very much reference available. ;w;
