Here is another of my sewing endeavors into the unknown.

My favorite part of this bag is the inside. I've zig-zag stitched four black seeds, two on each side, nestled inside the core of vanilla colored fleece. I always get a smile when I pull the bag open and show off this cute little detail.

On one of the outer sides I've zig-zag stitched white fleece circles to suggest a shiny corner. These are complimented on the opposite side by a large white plastic button, which acts as the fastener for closure.
The "lid" of the purse is sewn from a forest green fleece in the shape of a leaf and attaches to the large button with a green satin ribbon loop.
The straps are made from a sturdier brown fabric, and they signify the "stem" of the apple. They are long enough to comfortably pull over your shoulder for an under the elbow position of the purse.
