A fun little "What If" pic my friend and I did, based on a suggestion/idea that me and had while talking with each other.

In the dark of the night, after one the Cooper Gang's latest outings, Penelope is visited in her dreams by an unfamiliar voice. She doesn't recognize it, brushing it off as just something in her dreams. However, unbeknownst to her, the voice slowly and subtly begins to influence her to find an recover three ancient bracelets. These Bracelets are said to contain an ancient type of Voodoo magic, but are also rumored to possess a rather... cumbersome curse. Nevertheless, with some convincing, Sly and the Gang manage to find the bracelets and set out to retrieve them.

As this is happening, Penelope finishes up a little side project she had been building in her spare time: a small metal mask. Why? She doesn't know, but once Sly returned with the bracelets, the answers are quickly revealed. The Spirit of Dark Earth, then known as the "Mask" of Dark Earth had miraculously survived its encounter with the Cooper Gang, and had returned! Upon returning, it had manipulated poor Penelope and sought out the bracelets to restore itself back to its full power. It had the power, it had a new physical form... now all it needed was a vessel to wear it.

Soon, the possessed mask hopped onto Penelope's face, making her its new vessel, Despite an effort to stop her, Penelope quickly swiped the bracelets and attached them to her body. With the power of the Spirit, the bracelets and its curse, the small petite mechanic quickly grew and swelled into a destructive being fueled by Voodoo magic and The Spirit inside the mask. Now Sly and his friends have to find a way to free their friend, but seeing as how the Spirit of Dark Earth has learned from its past encounter, I have a strong feeling this won't be as easy as last time...
