Hm, that's bad to hear, but I just love the art style, and I suppose by "amazing game" it at least has good game play, right? You know that's actually the first thing bad I've heard about it...

Well let me be more specific:

The graphics are really sexy (sometimes literally) it's like a painting everywhere you go, you can tell the art direction was really dedicated to the project. The gameplay is really fun, it's not deep but it's definitely not boring, trust me you'll get hooked pretty easy there, also if you haven't noticed the music is perfect. The theme I linked is really intense but what I really like about the rest of the soundtrack is that it kinda feels like your playing a SNES game, and I mean that in a VERY good way.

Now the plot is not bad, it's just lacking. The story telling doesn't really capture me the way I would expect a game with so many other impressive aspects. The way it flows just makes it feel more like a narration rather than feeling or witnessing the story, oh and climax? What climax? Adding to that it's also disappointing to a guy like me who, is absolutely in love with the plot in the developer's last project, Odin's Sphere.

I would still recommend it, it definitely provides a good gaming experience.

Ah, well thanks for the specificness of that, it really wasn't necessary, but thanks. Besides, the moment I saw the art in my Nintendo Power I was practically already hooked, it just looked that amazing to me. But that is rather suckish that story is lacking. Hopefully I can pick it up soon though.

And I've heard of Odin's Sphere, Norse Mythology right? I heard it was EXCEPTIONALLY long due to all the characters, and the fact that all the characters had a few hours of gameplay each. But that's just what my friends have told me, and I'm sure it's a great game, I just don't own and Sony products. I'm just a big Nintendo guy, but that's not to say I don't enjoy playing games on my friends consoles and vice versa.
