Jan 9th, 2008Mechanical pencils, 6B pencil, tortillon, tissue paper, kneadable eraser
Ha! And I wanted to have this finished before new year... that is funny.
Anyway, I like how it looks... the reference was quite small compared to the size of photographs I generally use, so it was a bit of a challenge

If you adjust levels just a bit to submerge the tiny bits of grey in the black areas (probably due to scanning), it would look like a sharpened photograph.

Thanks... yeah you can't actually see it at first sight in the original. The problem is that if I tried to adjust it with Photoshop the face is going to look too bright... and it's too bright already.

You can spot adjust by just darkening the black/grey areas around her. : )
