Did this sketch in my sketchbook yesterday in ink and markers and stuff and colored it up last night. Just something really simple and graphic. Might scrap this a bit later.[EDIT] wow this has gotten a whole bunch of favorites and stuff, thank you all but whyyyyyy

Oh why thank you so much! Honestly when I get art block it isn't art block so much as idea block - I can just draw and draw and draw pretty pictures but if they don't mean anything then I just don't feel it. Sometimes though (like a lot of the stuff I upload and am proud of) I just have this little whims of ideas and I just go with it and don't question it too much. Like, say one day I feel like drawing a dog jumping through a window or something then I'll just go for it and I won't try to hard to inhibit myself from it but instead I look at artists I want to be more like and start thinking critically about how they used their media, their lines, their exaggeration - stuff like that and I try to emulate it. So I guess what I'm trying to say is if you have an idea then go with it but also always try and better yourself too and you will honestly grow super quick (and learn tons!)

No no, thank you for the giant reply! I always end up not being able to draw what I want to express, and I feel like I end up drawing the same things I'm used to drawing... But I guess I just need more practice, I've just been drawing with other artists in mind in the hopes that I would learn something in the process. Thanks for the advice! I don't have very much time for relaxing and doodling on my tablet these days but I really enjoy watching you (that sounds so creepy haha)!

Oh yeah drawing with other artists definitely helps a whole ton. Even if you don't absorb it all instantly - it'll come! Why thank you for watching me - just glad I can bring you some enjoyment!
